Dept of Geology, Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois. 55 pages. 17 illustrations. 4 fold-out water color map plates (Glacial, Relief, Drainage and Generalized Soil Map, all of the Regions of Chicago). Large 28 x 40" folding map in pocket in back cover (Base Map of Region of Chicago with township detail). Maps overall in VG-F with only minor fold wear and one tear to Glacial, ½" at edge where attached. Indexed. Gift inscription to Robert London signed and dated by author 5/29/'27. Interior crisp/clean. Yapped covers have bent edges, minor edge tears and corner bumps. 2" tear at top of backstrip. Lower back corner of cover missing ½" corner piece and is slightly water stained. Tiny stain on front cover and small surface area tear on back cover.. Signed and Inscribed By Author. Soft Cover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
