Has chapters On Matter, On Motion, On the Elements, On Fire, On Air, On Sound and Music, On Fossil Bodies, on Physical Geography; or the Natural History of the Earth, and On the Weather. Incredibly hard to find an original copy of this book. I was only able to find one in a library in England. Size: 4mo - over 9 3/4" - 12" tall. 627 pp. Pages are browned, but are clean. Both boards are completely detached, and much of the spine is missing. Moderately foxed throughout with heavy foxing on the endpapers. Some water damage along the edges. Heavy shelfwear to the cover.
