A surprisingly hard to find first mystery - chosen as the "Best First Traditional Mystery" by St Martin's Press First Malice Domestic contest. Set on a small island off the coast of Washington. While not a first, this is a very nice copy -INSCRIBED by the author "Best wishes and happy reading" and dated September 21, 1991, in the year of publication.
