Orig. published in hardcover in 1950, this is the First Printing of the first mass market paperback edition from Pocket Books (#846) from 1952. Condition downgraded to only Fair due to heavy edgewear, particularly heavy rubbing along edge of spine-front cover & a large diagonal crease across lower front cover. Otherwise, very clean, binding tight & square, pages modestly tanned around edges (commensurate with age). NO writing/underlining/highlighting; NOT ex-lib. Nicely protected in new mylar collector bag & Free!Photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have on hand.
