About This Item

Uk: The Western Gazette. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Wainwright, Alfred. Copiously illustrated with sketches, maps, charts etc. Wainwright's notebooks on the mountains of the Lake District are the best guides to walking the fells, and dearly beloved by a growing group of walkers and collectors. This is a bright, clean, undated facsimile of the 1958 first edition, bound in deep green leatherette with gilt lettering on boards and in a good, clean dust jacket. Boards a little rounded at corners. Internally bright crisp and clean. The dust jacket is mildly bumped along the upper edge and has crease along spine, but bright, clean and complete.
