About This Item

Worcester: Dorr, Howland & Co., 1895. Early days in Gibson County, IN, are recalled through a mixture of colorful tales, factual data, and the biographies of numerous early residents, in this 160 page booklet, comprised of excerpts from the rare 1895 book: The Pictorial Story of America by Elia W. Peattie, and other sources. The spiral bound booklet is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2" and is printed on 60# paper. A vinyl sheet protects the front cover.
