Unbound newsprint tabloid, 22-3/4 x 14-3/4 in., folded horizontally as issued; two sections paginated continuously to 35pp.; offset printed in color and b&w. About very good, with some splitting/tattering at the head and tail of the spine fold. Light to moderate browning throughout, though colors remain bright and vibrant. The penultimate issue of this image-only art magazine founded in 1969 by Steve Lawrence and Peter Hujar (and originally titled just Newspaper). This later iteration of the magazine features art direction by Lawrence and Miguel Sanchez, with subversive and frequently queer sensibilities on display throughout. Includes images by Rip Colt, Bill Cunningham, Annie Leibovitz, Antonio Lopez, Annie Leibovitz, Christian Piper and others.
