About This Item

New Delhi: The National Museum, 1967. Hardcover. x, 59p., plates as called for, color graphics measuring 6.5x9 inches tipped onto alkaline leaves measuring 9x12 inches and facing Sanskrit captioning with English translation and a paragraph or two of commentary. Item is hardbound in raw linen cloth boards, openweave with abundant texture, spine- and cover-titled in red ink and enclosed in the dust jacket. Upper margins of both covers show some foxing, and front cover bears a 3x4 inch smudge or stain. Front endsheet bears a faint small dealer's rubberstamp, rear endsheet a little foxing. Hinges and all structural elements are sound. The dust jacket is very edgeworn and has verso tape-strengthenings to spine-folds. All told, a good to very good copy.
