Pictures in Colour of Warwickshire: The Country of Shakespeare and George Eliot, with descriptive notes by F. L. Sabatini. Hardback, circa 1910, illustrated with 50 coloured pictures of Statford-on-Avon, Kenilworth, Conventry, Nuneaton. Published by Jarrold & Sons, Ltd, London, with publisher's compliments slip tipped in towards read of book and some contemporaneous advertisements.
Measures around 8 3/8" by 7 1/2" by 1/2". Red and green cloth binding with pictorial label and gilt lettering to front board. Some marking and scuffing to binding, with discolouration towards fore-edges but reasonably clean. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, slightly bumped corners. Binding reasonably firm but some tearing to front inner hinge. Page edges browned, scuffed and marked. Marking to endpapers, gift inscription on front free endpaper dating from 1910. The odd bit of marking to page surfaces but reasonably clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
