Providence, Rhode Island: J. A. & R. A. Reid, 1890. Title page dated 1890. Well-kept copy in an attractive Victorian binding. Scenes in and around Washington, together with history, biographies and maps. Light brown cloth over beveled boards lettered and elaborately decorated in gilt and black, all edges gilt, 308 pages. Some scuffing to the extremities and just the beginnings of fraying to the lower spine end, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with an old gift notation dated 1891 on the preliminary blank, no other markings.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
