Panels have dark green background with gilt florals around the edge and stylized T.S.Arthur gilt design in center. Gilt spine letterring and all edge gilting. Some abrasion to rear cover, scorching areas to rear cover and spine, outer hinge splits to front and rear covers, but binding tight and sound. Mild foxing throughout, but pages bright white and clean, uniform sweat stain running 1/2" along the bottom margin, front end paper chipped at the corners with 1857 inscription in ink. Good.. 1st.
