The deluxe cloth binding was issued at 2s., double the price of the standard binding of paper-covered boards. The Mildred Greenhill-Bradley Martin copy, with their respective bookplates to front pastedown and endpaper. Small quarto. Original blue cloth, titles to spine and front cover in blue, decorations and vignette to front cover in blue and gilt, bevelled edges, white moiré paper endpapers, gilt edges. Housed in a blue velvet-lined cloth solander box. Frontispiece and 9 colour illustrations by the author. Bookseller's ticket to rear free endpaper. Front hinge splitting at head, some faint foxing, misbound with page numbering erratic but complete. A very good copy. Linder, p. 425; Quinby 9.
