Green cloth binding with bright and clear gilt lettering on spine. Boards rubbed on front and back; edges, corners, spine head/tail, hinge all rubbed, slight scuffing of some corners. Yellow and green endbands, sewn binding tight and solid, square; inner hinge cracked. Frontis photogravure, " The Widow Descoings.", tissue protected, with red print on tissue.
