Green cloth binding with bright and clear gilt lettering on spine. Boards rubbed on front and back; edges, corners, spine head/tail, hinge all rubbed, slight scuffing of some corners. Yellow and green endbands, sewn binding tight and solid, square; inner hinge cracked. Frontis photogravure, " The Widow Descoings.", tissue protected, with red print on tissue. Text pages clean, unmarked, no tears, flexible not fragile, toned. 544 pages. 8 x 5.5 inches. c. 1900. P.F.Collier & Son, New York. New York, USA
