Pictorial hardcover binding has some remains of tape on it, else clean square and tight. back pocket and date slip removed, stains on endpapers where dj flaps were glued. 54 pages, interior clean bright and tight - only stamp on title page. Corner-clipped dj flap has $2.57 on bottom of flap,some closed tears to back of jacket and spine, shelfwear along edges, with Harpercrest gold sticker on spine. Protected from further damage in clean Brodart jacket. After Mr. Pigeon is deposed from his position atop the William Tecumseh Sherman statue in Central Park, he decides he and his wife will move to the country.. Illus. by Tinkelman, Murray. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardcover. Good+/Near Very Good.
