From the collection of Wayne Prescott Suttles, renowned anthropologist, scholar, and linguist regarding many Pacific cultures, and especially the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast Salish people. Provenance provided upon request. Inscribed to Suttles and his wife Shirley by the author and his wife on the half-title. Condition notes: 232 numbered pp; HB w/DJ. Pages: clean, bright, tight, red topstain, f.e. deckled, red eps; a.e. lt tanned. Cover: black, gilt/red titles spine; minimal shelfwear, t.e. slightly sunned. DJ: unclipped, lt blue, dk blue artwork front, dk blue titles front/spine; modest edge/shelfwear w/ several tiny closed tears, spine and edges sunned, slight soil.
