Contemporary red morocco, covers with quadruple-fillet gilt border surrounding a wide gilt-floral-tooled border, spine in six compartments with five raised bands, gilt-lettered in one, a richly gilt panel repeated in the remaining, board edges and turn-ins gilt, all edges gilt. Inner hinges cracked but binding tight, light wear at extremities and a few small stains, but overall a very atttractive copy in a contemporary binding; internally some foxing (heavier at beginning and end), intermittent soft vertical crease, a few small offsettings from pressed leaves.
