Roy.8vo, (xxxvi), 342pp, a.e.g. Engraved frontis and title page, 26 steel engravings, some full page, by E.I. Roberts. Handsomely bound in contemporary gift binding, full black crushed morocco, gilt panelled & crested on front and rear covers. Spine gilt with raised bands, gilt inner dentelles. Faintly rubbed at edges o/w a very crisp copy, with the very faintest of occasional foxing on a few plates.
