Black and white frontispiece. Black and white plates, illustrated by William Haeslip. 220 pages. NOT ex-library. Binding starting to crack at page 81, but otherwise strong and intact. Hinges NOT cracked. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Spine slightly darkened. Gift inscription on front free endpaper, dated Christmas 1929. Pages lightly tanned, more so at periphery, but still supple. Pages clean and unmarked. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
