The story of the search for a small boy, Toby Tottel for the book of wisdom and some furniture mystically colored pink, and the search is narrated in a series of cameos, fairies and magic, satire, humor, and non-sense verses, all linked to the central theme. Bound in full vellum, spine lettering gilt, boards bowed as usual, in an unclipped dust jacket with a few small tear repairs to underside of jacket. A very good copy.
