Introduction by Hezekiah Butterworth dated 1898. Jordan Marsh is listed as publisher and date of 1898 on verso of title page. HM Caldwell is listed on front of title page. Previous owner's inscription, in pencil, and dated Dec. 25, 1898 on ffep else no markings. Binding is tight; hinges sound.Very Mild wear to corners of cloth else a lovely copy of this scarce book.
