Theosophical Puiblishing House, London, 1954. Reprint. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good Condition/Fair. Foreword to the third edition, foreword to the fourth edition and introduction by author. Bright blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Plaintext dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. First published in 1911. Title says it all. Softening and rubbing of the back strip edges with bumping and rubbing of the book corners. Slight bumping of the other book edges and there is patchy fading of the book covers and quite significant patchy fading of the back strip. Light browning of the text block edges and pages. Faint offset tanning and foxing to the end pages with previous owners name to the top edge of the free front end page. Remnants of a sticker can be seen to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. The rear hinge has cracked and the underlying webbing is visible. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and back strip edges. There is a 6 inch tear to the rear spine gutter edge. Significant fading of the back strip and to the dustwrapper edges. Creasing to the top right hand corner of the front fold over panel and fading to the verso of the dustwrapper – along the back strip. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
