Boston: Samuel H. Parker, 1839. Parker's edition. Leather. Very Good. Parker's edition, 1839. A Very Good copy. 8vo., vii, 271; 274 pp., illustrated with engraved frontispieces. Bound in period half calf and marbled paper over boards. All text block edges speckled. Light shelf wear. The spine was at one point dry, and has been treated with some kind of resin, in the distant past. Title lettering on the spine is faded and rubbed away. End papers foxing, but text is very clean text. Tight. Still, a Very Good copy. Volume 23 & 24 of the publisher's series, The Waverley Novels.
