307 pages. Binding is a little cocked, but solid and tight. Shows some rubbing, fraying at head and heel of spine, flyleaf cut out; hinges solid, all pages tight, unmarked, intact, with very little age-darkening

Norval Richardson (1877-1940), author and former United States diplomat, wrote a number of popular thrillers in the pre-WWll era; Pirate's Face, a well-written romantic adventure, was among the most popular and is hard to find today. He in died in October 1940 in Bermuda of a heart attack at the age of 63 after escaping Nazi-occupied France.
