Original green cloth bound with landscape orientation with blind-stamped lettering on cover and spine. Textured endpapers. Frontispiece photograph. Contains 44 full-page photographs and plates aa, frontispiece, and plate bb at rear. "I am interested," Busch remarked in a 1987 interview, "in presenting reality more acutely than I can actually see it. On one level, my work is about a certain density of information. There is more to see than we actually see." (Busch). "Where Busch has chosen to look, in making his photographs, has varied considerably: from the canyon lands of the West to hi sown native territory, a relatively small region in northern Illinois rarely considered remarkably scenic, and studies of Denver, Atlanta, and Chicago." (Donald Bartlett Doe). Biography and image chronology at rear. Binding with minor rubbing. Slight yellowing in margins of block, not affecting images. Binding and interior in very good+ condition.
