These include: Herman Cossmann (Cologne Old And New Exhibition), Wilhelm Hartz (Margerittentag), Robert Engels (Freie Literarische Vereinigung), F. A. Herkendell (Grosser Weihnacht's Verkauf), Hanns Herkendell (Ulm Munster Cathedral), Otto Lendecke (women's fashion), Harald Schwerdtfeger (men's fashion, folded brochure), Marty (Gazette du Bon Ton Feb. 1914 print "Les Soeurs de Lait, Robe d'apres midi de Doeuillet), George Barbier (Gazette du Bon Ton Juli 1914 print "Le Cypres et la Rose, robe d'ete de Doeuillet), Ludwig Kreiner, Carl Ederer, H. Hoch (stunning Art Nouveau/Art Deco poster for a performance, titled "Düsseldorfer Bühnenball Dü-Bü-Ba, 20. Apr. 1912"), and J. V. Cissarz.
Also included are 12 tipped in color monthly poster stamps designed by Adolf Uzarski, for the German Jewish department store owner Leonhard Tietz. The stamps depict ballroom dancers, Carnival masks, soccer players, glass & porcelain goods, Japan & China, and more. Hans Sachs (1881-1974) , Berlin dentist and later poster art afficionado & publisher founded the Association of Poster Friends in 1905 and published the journal "Das Plakat" from 1910-1921.
4to, non consecutively paginated, ads printed on rear paste down. Color pictorial stiff paper wrappers by Uzarski. Bottom edge of a few pages trimmed close, partially obscuring second line of text, otherwise very good + condition. OCLC: 1019975965.
