Fascinating piece of Folklore America literature, written by the celebrated author of "Uncle Remus", and exquisitely illustrated with 20 b/w illustrations by E. Boyd Smith. Some age-wear on binding with soiling on spine and covers, and minor rubbing along edges. Front hinge starting. Very minor age-toning along paper margin. Binding in overall good-, interior in good+ to very good condition.
