London: Heinemann, 1969. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Near Fine. This is a first printing of the first edition, with the "First published 1969" notation on the verso of the title page. The interior of the book is crisp and clean. with no signatures or signs of previous uses. The paper has darkened slightly. The black covers are fresh, with light wear at tips and corners and a dent on the top right hand corner. The gilt spine lettering is still bright. The dust jacket is not corner clipped, and is also in excellent condition, again with very minor edge wear. The jacket is now in a protective mylar cover.
