Chapman & Hall, 1934. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1934. First Edition. 247 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Brown cloth covered boards with gilt. Boots library rebind with associated stickers (removed) and markings to pages and boards. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Cracking to gutters, no damage to end papers. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding is shaky. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends with fraying and splits. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is darkened.
