Near Fine/Very Good. 12mo, gray cloth with dark green label & gilt lettering, Introduction by Edward Saltus, archival mylar-protected lettered dust jacket (unclipped; price $1.25), gray pictorial ML Torchbearer design endpapers, publisher's gray topstain, iv, [v-vi] + 220 pages + [6] Ads for ML. Oscar Wilde (1854 - 1900) was an Irish poet, wit, raconteur, and brilliant playwright. This edition contains: Salome, The Importance of Being Earnest, Lady Windermere's Fan, A Woman of No Importance, and An Ideal Husband.<br/> <br/> Solid, clean copy. Light uniform age-toning to paper. A few small nicks and some edgewear to the jacket edges. Toledano's Guide states that the number 360 on the inside of the unclipped dust jacket indicates it was printed in 1952, which conforms to the style of the dj's rear panel. ML first published Oscar Wilde's Plays in 1932.
