Lincoln: Penmaen Press, 1977. First Edition. Hardcover. Light marking to cloth along spine. Near Fine in a Near Fine slipcase. Lynd Ward. Quarto in cloth-backed boards. Of 200 numbered copies of this special edition, this copy not numbered but marked "O.S.," out-of-series. Illustrated with six wood engravings by Lynd Ward. SIGNED by artist Lynd Ward, Anthony Hecht, the translator, and Arthur Wilson who wrote the introduction. Hand-printed by Michael McCurdy and Evelyn Clarke with Ward's engravings struck from the blocks. There were also 100 deluxe copies and 200 trade copies. Prospectus laid in.
