About This Item

New York: Scribners, 1936. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. First edition. Inscribed by the Wheelock on the front free endpaper, dated Oct. 24, 1936 and with a 16-line handwritten poem, "Deftly does the dust express..." which is the second stanza of the poem "Earth" which appears on p.117 of this book and was part of the author's "Dust and Light" collection published in 1919. Very good, spotting to the spine strip ands a small red mark on the lower edge of the text block.
