NY: Scribner, 1936. First Edition. 8vo, Pp. 245. A very nice copy in very lightly worn dj. Inscribed by the author, a month before publication, with a nine line poem to poet Clement Wood. Included is a note "to be published Oct 2" and some of wood's pencil critical marginalia. Wheelock was awarded the Bollingen prize in 1962. Wood won considerable fame for his "De Glory Road" published in his 1926 collection.
