np: The Blind Camel, 1970. First edition?. wraps. Very Good. 6-1/4 x 9 inches, 21, [3] pages. Publisher's printed wrappers. Condition is VERY GOOD, with slight soiling to the wrappers. A series of nine poems by Loomis with offset illustrations by Gerard Haggerty printed in various colors, and with a cover photograph by James Terry Elder. Dedicated to Jim Morrison and the Doors, "in jail or walking the street." As far as I can tell, the only book by this California publisher and no doubt privately printed; Loomis was a novelist and Professor of English at UC Santa Barbara. poetry, stax
