Very Good (leather rubbed/worn to spine) in rubbed/scuffed slipcase/slipcase. 8vo. colour illustrations Nice Heinrich Heine, from the Limited Editions Club, being No. 123 of 1500 copies signed to limitation page by illustrator Fritz Kredel; poems selected, translated and with an introduction by Louis Untermeyer; a good selection containing many hundreds of Heine's poems; colour vignettes throughout by Kredel; bookplate of Nils Berman to front pastedown; half green calf with gilt titling to spine, ornate papered sides in gold card slipcase; leather sunned to spine and with some creases and scuffing to hinges, o.w. Very Good tight and clean throughout; slipcase edgeworn to front, spine and top and bottom sides, and with one or two minor worn patches.
