London: Printed at the Chiswick Press, 1879. 4 albumen photographic prints: the frontispiece reproducing a painted portrait of Gray, the other three are oval prints of Eton. "Mr. Thomas Gray. By the Hon. Horace Walpole", pages xiii-xvi., xvi, 415 pages. Signed contemporary binding by Riviere and Son of polished dark brown calf, the back with ornate gilt floral decorations and red morocco label gilt, covers with double gilt rules bordering narrow band of gilt floral decorations, all edges gilt, marbled end papers. Very Good Plus, 1" scrape to calf front cover, light rubbing, front joint just starting to show wear. moderate spotting to end papers and at pages with photographic prints, prior owner name in pencil front end page. . Second Edition. Polished Calf. Very Good Plus/No Jacket, As Issued. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
