Signed inscription from the Illustrator Robert Anning Bell. Further inscribed by Rubert William Boyce to Gwendolyn Hamilton. Robert Anning Bell and Rupert William Boyce were both Academics at Liverpool University and would have known each other. Robert Anning Bell 1862-1933 was an English artist and designer. Rupert William Boyce 1863-1911 was an English pathologist and hygienist, known for his work on tropical medicine. Illustrated throughout by Robert Anning Bell. Book is very good with lightly soiled cloth boards. Light edge rubbing. The pages are age toned especially the endpapers. Rare signed. More images can be taken upon request.Ref17371
