London: W Kent & Co (late D Bogue. Good +. 1860. 6.75" By 9" Tall. Very beautifully embossed decorated blue cloth with an abundance of gilt to front cover and spine. All page edges gilt. Wear and frayed to top and tail of spine. Corners rubbed and bumped. 5 line inscription on ffep. Some light foxing. Browning to back of frontis. Editor (JC): "This selection. . . incudes such of his popular Poems as may with propriety be given in a volume intended for the Drawing-room; and nearly all the Songs which are usually published." Numerous engravings, e.g. Bruar Falls illustrates his Petition to the Duke of Atholl to plant some trees around the naked falls. 272 pages. A very beautiful book. .
