In good condition. 175, (1) pp. *** Second and preferred edition, revised and augmented, with more than 70 pages added to the first edition (1882), and with numerous errors corrected. We have seen mention of at least five editions (through 1900).The author (1853-1911) discusses and quotes at length from sixteen authors of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, including one woman (Gertrudis Gomez de Avellaneda).*** Trelles VI, 154.
