Soundly bound in uniform 1/2 polished calf with red and green morocco title labels to spines; marbled paper over boards with marbling to page block edges. Frontis portrait of Spenser; each volume fronted with an extra engraved pictorial title page. Light rubbing to leather at extremities and to baords at edges. Spine with extra detail in blind and faded gilt. Spines appear to have been lightly varnished at some point in titme. VG set ...
