Black and white illustrated frontispiece. Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. Front free endpaper and frontispiece loose. Hinges are moderately cracked with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Heavy splits and peeling to spine and corners. Minor scuffing to edges. Visible wear marks to boards.
