London: William Pickering, 1847. Two volumes handsomely bound in full pebbled green and brown morocco, five raised bands with gilt lettering, an early 20th c. Fine rebinding with the bookplates of Samuel Thaxter Farquhar, (1890-1949), noted printer and manager of the University of California Press, which was greatly improved and expanded under his leadership. A Fine and lovely set. . Later Edition. Morocco. Fine/No Jacket, As Issued. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
