Small 8vo; 6 x 3 7/8 inches (152 x 98 mm); xi, 284 pp. Striking binding in polished red calf by Riviere & Son with their pallet signature on the verso of the front free endpaper: gilt corner decorations and frame on boards, raised bands, extra gilt spine with raised bands and gilt title on black morocco label; inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, a.e.g. tiny chip at head of spine. Pages clean and bright, binding tight.
