James Blackwood & Co, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 384 pages. No dust jacket. Orange cloth with black decoration and gilt lettering. Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Visible marking to some pages throughout, but text is not affected. Binding is slightly shaky, due to cracked hinges, but all pages remain attached. Pencil inscriptions to front endpapers. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine is severely sunned, with noticeable crushing and slight splitting to ends. Visible marks overall. Gilt remains bright. Book has a slight forward lean.
