Boston: D. Lothrop & Co, 1883. Hardcover. Very Good -/No Jacket. This rare edition of Hood's works is bound in green cloth with ornate lettering and 3-leaf clover designs to front board and spine. All edges gilt. Covers show minimal wear. Illustrated with frontispiece and plates. Hinge cracked at title page, and one page (475) is loose with tattered fore edge - binding is otherwise tight. Light ink inscription on endsheet. Mild foxing first and last pages. Pages are lightly tanned with minimal creasing. A nice, attractive volume. Full refund if not satisfied.
