In centre of front board there is a tipped in coloured portrait of a cherub in a gold and black oval frame. New dark maroon endpapers, brightly gilded page edges. Illustrations by Hugh Cameron, frontis portrait of Cowper and 12 other plates, 483pp + Nimmo catalogue, 24pp. Tips of spine chipped, 1 torn page has been repaired, pages uniformly browning.
