Humphrey Milford, 1923. Hardcover. Good. 1923. No Edition Remarks. 986 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Black and white frontispiece. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Pages are mildly tanned throughout. Text is clear. Severe cracking to gutters causing boards and binding to be loose. However, boards & pages throughout remain attached. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing & tanning to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering darkened. Noticeable red staining. Minor splits causing fraying to cloth at spine ends.
