About This Item

Boston, MA: Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Very Good+. 2004. 1st Edition; 1st Printing. Spiral bound. 0618477934 . This is a spiral bound book with hard covers. The book is in Very Good+ condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The corners of the book covers have some light bumping and rubbing. Each page flips from one to the next, and there is a black and white illustration on clear plastic in the center of each page that you shine a flashlight through to make shadows appear on the wall. The text pages are clean and bright, with the exception of some spots of rubbing to the bottom corners of each page. "The Polar Express is a 2004 American computer-animated fantasy adventure film[1] co-written and directed by Robert Zemeckis, based on the 1985 children's book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg, who also served as one of the executive producers. The film features human characters animated using live-action and motion-capture CGI animation. It tells the story of a young boy who, on Christmas Eve, sees a mysterious train bound for the North Pole stop outside his window and is invited aboard by its conductor. The boy joins several other children as they embark on a journey to visit Santa Claus preparing for Christmas. " (from Wikipedia) .
