Light wear, previous owner's signature to the title page, else Very Good. 'She relentlessly attacks "the overpopulation alarmists" and "bourgeois feminism," finding that imperialism and the myth of overpopulation oppress women in the Third World. As passionately committed to her views as are the members of the Planned Parenthood Federation that she ridicules, Mass sees agribusiness making profits out of hunger, and United States initiatives sterilizing women against their will. Highly stylized in interpretation, her book supposes that present population trends around the world pose no problems, that poverty results inherently from the class exploitation of capitalism and imperialism, and that the only countries to achieve either worthwhile population policies or genuine equality of opportunity for women are socialist nations like Cuba or China.' ~.
