London: Henry G. Bohn. Very Good. 1852. Third Edition. Half-Leather. Bound in 1/2 red morocco, marbled boards and endpapers, nicely gilt backstrip, with 5 raised bands, top edge gilt. Binding rubbed at extremities- corners a bit edgeworn, but still very attractive. Former owner's bookplate on front pastedown, bookplate crudely removed from rear pastedown leaving some remnants, some scattered light foxing on some of the plates, else near Fine. With the embossed seal of the merchant and philantropist, O. S. A. Sprague of Chicago on the flyleaf. ; 3rd ed. Xix, 208pp, Nicely illustrated, engraved fronispiece, 81 plates and plans, some folding, 2 plates in color, many finely done vignettes. ; 208 pages .
