John Murray, 1875. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1875. No edition stated. 416 pages. No dust jacket. Fully bound in blue leather with decoration to spine. Contains black and white illustrations. Ex-Libris plate stuck to front pastedown. Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Frontispiece torn but still attached. Binding remains firm. Pen inscriptions to front endpapers. Decorative text block edges. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering to heavily sunned spine is dulled. Chips to head and tail of spine and small splits to joints.
